How do I clean my Remer Bathroom Mirror?
  • Be sure the Demister, LEDs and other functions are turned off before cleaning.  
  • To clean the mirror, wipe the glass surface with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on a clean cotton cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  • Always use soft-grit-free cloths when cleaning the mirror glass to reduce chances of scratching the surface.
  • Be sure to dry all joints and edges of the mirror thoroughly
  • Do not use any harsh chemicals or windows cleaners etc.  
What is Copper free Mirror?

This is the coating on the back of the mirror.  It is resistant to corrosion and to blackening (oxidation) of mirror that was evident on the traditional silver mirrors.  This is due to the exposure to moisture in the air.

What is the difference between front-lit and backlit Mirror?

Backlit emits the light towards the wall it is mounted on.  Darker wall - light appears darker, lighter wall the light appears more vibrant. Finish on the wall can also reflect or absorb the light giving it a different look.  This designer style of mirror is used more for added ambiance to a room.

Remer LED Mirrors are generally classified into two categories, Frontlit or Backlit. These two categories are used to describe the illuminance of the lighting on our LED mirror. 

As a guide we say that any mirror classified as ‘Frontlit’ has better lighting for your face compared with a mirror that is classified as ‘Backlit’, which is typically designed for ambiance lighting.
